What Would Socialism look like right here in Durham?

We are launching a 5-part educational series on Socialist Reconstruction, a book that imagines what socialism could look like in the U.S. A system that would end imperialist war, eliminate poverty, racism and bigotry, and utilize the wealth and development of modern society for the good of the people.

The series will include panels of workers from various sectors, including group activities, and educational presentations to put forward an in-depth vision about what such a system where workers have the power could look like right here in Durham.

Everyone is welcome! Whether you are someone wanted to learn more about socialism or just looking for an alternative to the current system, we are coming together to envision a better world we know is possible.
